PawMania is a pet care service located in Jersey City, NJ. We pride ourselves on care. When a new member joins Paw Mania they instantly become extended family. Caring for your pet the way we would our own is a priority. We are insured, educated and ready to provide the best service possible. To provide accountability to our clients we are powered by PetPocketbook. Clients can request appointments, see their recent invoices, get updates on their pets and more in the palm of your hand.

Pet Pocketbook is the web app we utilize to keep our client information, bookings and communication in one place. Clients can request services whenever they’d like. They can see their report cards and download the photos the walker takes. Clients can even pay their bill and look over their invoices via Pet Pocketbook.

At this time, it is just a web app meaning it only operates via your web browser however, you can add the website to your homescreen for quicker access.
-Go to PetPocketbook.com and login
-Press the share button, scroll down and select “Add to Home Screen”
-Rename It “Paw Mania” and then select “Add”
-When you finish, you will be able to find it on your Home Screen

If you have to cancel a service that was booked. Feel free to login to the Pet Pocketbook app, go to appointments, find the appointment on the date you wish to cancel and press cancel. If there is a fee associated, it will prompt you to accept the fee or keep the service.

Dog Walking Cancellation Policy:
-$10 fee if the appointment is canceled within 48 hours of the appointment.

You will receive an email invitation from Pet Pocketbook. Be sure to check your spam. Once you accept the invitation to join, you can create your family profile, fill it out to the best of your knowledge/ability and request a meet and greet for the desired service.

Once you have created your family profile, you can go to the appointments tab and press request an appointment. The first request should be a meet and greet. The particular meet and greet service can be found under the tab of the desired service. For example, if you’re seeking dog walking, you can find “Dog Walking Meet and Greet” under the dog walking tab. Once your service is approved, you will receive a confirmation email.

You can request the services by logging into your Pet Pocketbook profile and selecting the date, type of service, the timeframe and before submitting, you can scroll down to see the estimated pricing. You will receive an email once approved. You can also browse our other services and request as your convenience. The schedule is approved on a weekly basis and we as that you schedule each Sunday by 5pm the week before the desired service.

A meet and greet is required to obtain any services. They are conducted by the team member. If you are seeking dog walks for example, the assigned dog walker will come by for the meeting. During the meeting, you can show the walker around, update the access instructions on your profile, ask your walker any questions that you may have, tell them about your pet, etc. Meet and Greets are important to disclose any and all information about your pet. Dog walking/pet check in meet and greets are conducted in the clients home. Virtual meetings are also available. Each meet and greet description states the typical availability in which we can meet you. You can request any day that suits you and if we can accomodate we will approve. If we need to make an adjustment we will reach out via the messaging in Pet Pocketbook. These notifications can be found in your email.

In the event of an emergency, the sitter will contact management to inform them & further the client to decide the best course of action.
All clients must provide rabies, vaccination proof and a veterinary release in the event of an emergency.

We service uptown/downtown Hoboken and Jersey City Heights/Downtown.
For pet check ins:
We service all of Hoboken, Jersey City Heights/Downtown and some surrounding areas. Please inquire within to double check.

We are located in the Jersey City Heights area.

Our invoices are sent out every Monday and should be paid the same day via credit/debit card, Venmo or Apple Pay. 5% processing fees apply for credit/debit card payments. Sales Taxes apply to applicable services. Upon requesting your services, you can scroll down and see the pricing.

Yes, we require all dogs over 1 year old to be neutered or to have a date in which they will be neutered.
All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations such as Rabies, DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza) and Bordetella (proof required).
All vaccinations should be emailed to pawmaniajc@gmail.com with the your pets name/your name as the subject.

We can dispense medication (NO IV). We are experienced in Oral medication dispense.

Microchip is not required however highly recommended. It is a wonderful tool in which your pet can be identified should they ever be lost or stolen. Collars and tags can be removed should your pet be stolen however a microchip is an engraved identification.

You should have the pet parent fill out the contact form on our website. They will be prompted to join the web app and sign our contract form giving us permission to care for their pup and agree to our policies. Then you can create a profile for them your Pet Pocketbook and update your booking to include them.

In true emergency situations, you may call/text Cristina and if you do not get a response, you can send a message via pet pocketbook. In this case, the manager and Cristina will see it and can respond accordingly. If you have an appointment booked on the day you are calling, the assigned team member will also see the message.

Yes, we are open most Holidays however our hours are subject to change. Holidays are subject to a $15 fee per service completed. The holidays that we observe are posted on our Instagram @paw_mania. Please check our Instagram pinned posts for the accurate dates.

Yes, we provide walks during the week after 4pm and on the weekends upon request. Please schedule in advance. Last minute requests incur a late booking fee.

If your building does not have a concierge who can provide the key, we would access the home via lockbox. We prefer this method as it allows access to all team members if the initial team member cannot make it for any reason. This is also a great method for the owners should they ever get locked out of their home and keep the key in one place.

We operate with a team and try our best to provide a regular walker however, will often send another team member to ensure the pets have formed a bond with all of our team members. You can always see who your assigned team member is by going to your appointment tab. The team members name will be next to your pets name.
